Soap

Moisten with water to form a thick gruel and apply to a cloth. Wash off after 10-15 minutes. If the remedy does not work right away, you can hold it a little longer.
Ammonia and petrol

Boiling is a good old method of bleaching cotton fabrics. Put the shirt in an enamel bowl, bucket or saucepan, add soda ash, bring to a boil and keep on fire for half an hour, stirring with wooden tongs.
