How to clean a gold chain at home: the easiest and most effective ways

Gold is a very beautiful metal, especially in the form of chains or bracelets. Original weaves make the jewelry sophisticated and unusual. However, over time, the products begin to fade or become overgrown with a layer of fine dirt particles. In this case, jewelry workshops are not always an option, so the question of how to clean a gold chain at home becomes relevant.

By scientific definition, gold is the metal that least needs to be cared for. It is not influenced by external factors, since its reaction with stimuli is minimal. That is why the noble substance does not corrode and continues to shine even several years after it has become part of the jewelry.

But over time, even gold chains can darken and become dull. One of the reasons for this unpleasant phenomenon is the presence of impurities in alloys. However, this does not always happen for the above reason. The factor influencing the color change of the metal can be the interaction of the latter with the human skin, which is covered with a layer of dust. That is why cleaning gold items is extremely necessary.

Cleaning a chain is not always easy. This is due to the large number of links and weaves that make up the decoration. But there are many ways by which you can easily return the original look of your favorite jewelry.
